Keith Coleman

Artist Biography
A resident of Taylor, Michigan (a few miles west of Wyandotte), Keith Coleman has worked all of his life making custom cars, motorcycles and art. Shows that his work has appeared in include: Autorama (2005), River's Edge Gallery (2004), Indy Nostalgia Drag (1995 to 2000), and National Street Rod association shows in Louisville (1992), Columbus (1995-2001), and Kalamazoo (1985-1990). His work has appeared in national publications including Hot Rod Magazine, Rod Action, TV Guide, and Street Scene; and locally in the News Herald, on the Up Down and Around Town show, and in the Detroit Free Press, Detroit News, Metro Times, and Real Detroit. Two of his metal sculptures can be seen locally in Wyandotte: a bear at Roosevelt High School on Eureka near 4th, and a bull on the sidewalk in front of the Morgan Stanley offices on Biddle between Eureka and Sycamore.
