Artist Biography
Jerzy Werbel hails from Poland but is now situated in Windsor, Ontario. While in Poland, Jerzy established a career as an artist who developed decorative elements for interior designers. After living 3 years in Germany, he moved to Canada in 1990. Werbel continued painting and exhibiting his work in shows and galleries in Canada. His thick, colorful, painterly style, and custom-made frames have attracted art collectors from all over the world. His work is original, collectible and affordable - a rare combination. The River’s Edge Gallery is the only dealer of his work in the Metropolitan Detroit Area.
